Yeseul Moon was born in Suwon, South Korea. She received her first piano lessons at the age of seven. At the age of sixteen, she graduated with honors from Sunhwa Arts School, on which occasion she performed Camille Saint-Saëns' Second Piano Concerto with orchestra.
She also completed her bachelor's degree at Ewha Womans University with honors. This was followed by a master's degree (class of Prof. Gilead Mishory) and the concert exam (class of Prof. Dr. Hardy Rittner) at the Musikhochschule Freiburg. Currently she is deepening her artistic education through chamber music studies (class of Prof. Tatevik Mokatsian, Hochschule für Musik Saar) and PhD studies (Musikhochschule Freiburg).
Yeseul Moon won numerous prizes at national and international competitions and was a scholarship recipient of the Hyundai Foundation and the Carl Bechstein Foundation. In 2020, she was awarded Deutschland-Stipendium.
In February 2023, her second CD "Ghetto Lullaby" was released by the label Musikproduktion Dabringhaus und Grimm (MDG). The album brings together works from the 20th and 21st centuries that deal with the Second World War and the Holocaust in terms of content. Her debut CD (2020) was devoted to the piano works of Samuel Barber. Yeseul has been broadcast on radio several times; her playing regularly receives excellent reviews at home and abroad (BBC Music Magazine, The Times, etc.).

피아니스트 문예슬은 선화예술중학교를 수석 입학, 수석 졸업하고 선화예술고등학교를 우수 졸업하였다. 이화여자대학교를 장학금을 수혜받으며 입학하여 최고 석차로 학사학위를 취득하였다. 이후 도독하여 프라이부르크 국립 음대(Hochschule für Musik Freiburg)에서 석사과정 (Master Musik)을 최고 점수로 졸업하였으며, 최고 연주자 과정 (Konzertexamen/Meisterklasse)을 만장일치 최고 점수로 졸업하며 전문 연주자로서의 기반을 단단히 하였다.
일찍이 국내에서 세계일보콩쿨, 음악저널콩쿨, 한-독 브람스콩쿨, 인터내셔널 피아노 콩쿨에서 우승했으며, 독일 유학시절 아르투어 렙틴 피아노 콩쿨에서 상위입상과 관객상을 받으며 그 두각을 나타내기 시작했다.
국내에서 해비치 재단(現 현대차 정몽구 재단)과 명현 장학재단으로부터 장학금을 받았고, 프라이부르크 음대 재학 중 프라이부르크 음대 장학재단으로부터 장학금과 연주기회를 받아 프라이부르크 음대 실내악홀(Kammermusiksaal)에서 독주회를 가졌다. 이어 독일 정부와 야마하 재단으로부터 도이칠란드 장학금(Deutschland Stipendium)을, 칼 벡슈타인 장학재단(Carl Bechstein Stiftung)으로부터 장학금을 수혜받았고, 같은 해 독일 바덴 뷔르템베르크 주(Baden-Württemberg) 음악 대학들의 연합으로 개최되는 Rising Star Festival의 협연자로 선정되었다.
프라이부르크 음대 최고연주자 과정 재학 중 미국 작곡가 사무엘 바버(Samuel Barber)가 생전 출판한 피아노 곡을 모두 수록한 레이블 MDG (Musikproduktion Dabringhaus Grimm)를 통해 발매하며 유럽무대에 성공적으로 데뷔하였다. 이어 2023년에는 두번째 앨범인 “Ghetto Lullaby”를 발매하였고 이 앨범은 세계 2차대전과 홀로코스트를 내용적으로 다룬 20세기와 21세기의 작품들을 모아 녹음하였다.
이 앨범들은 영국 언론 The Times, BBC Music magazine과 독일의 Fono Forum, 벨기에 Crescendo Magazine 등으로부터 호평 받았으며, 프랑스 Opus Haute Définition와 독일 CLASS: aktuell에 소개되었다. 또한 독일 최고 권위의 음반상 오푸스 클래식(Opus Klassik)에 해당 앨범이 올해의 신인상, 올해의 연주자상, 올해의 독주상 부문, 세계 초연상에 노미네이트 되었고, 프랑스의 국영 라디오 France Musique와 독일의 라디오 Deutschlandfunk Kultur를 통해 전파를 타기도 하였다.
국내에서 신민자, 김혜림, 변정은, 김정은 교수를 사사하였고 해외에서는 Gilead Mishory, Hardy Rittner, Cédric Pescia, Tatevik Mokatsian, Christoph Sischka 교수를 사사하였다. 마스터 클래스를 통해 Christoph Lieske, Gerald Fauth, Felix Gottlieb, Robert Levin으로부터 음악적 영감을 얻었다.
현재는 실내악 부문으로도 관심을 넓혀, 독일 자브뤼켄 음악대학(Hochschule für Musik Saar)에서 실내악 석사 과정에 재학중이며, 동시에 프라이부르크 국립 음대에서 박사과정(PhD)에 재학중이다.
